HALF HALF is a new dance work for 3 dancers which will be presented in 2 distinct parts. Part 1 is rigorously complex with an over abundance of urgent energetic dancing, while part 2 explores a slowing down of movement in order to find new ways of connecting across space and time with others.

This is not a passive performance; it is an encounter. HALF HALF asks: What happens when I/we dance? What do we see, feel, express, witness, or transmit? The work offers dance as a method for making visible and felt what might otherwise remain hidden- grief, memory, resistance, repetition, and resilience. Through a layered movement language that incorporates structured form, the dancers generate a live negotiation of presence, perception, and response within Evelyn Morris's intuitive musical language.
